What is the IFSG Connections?
The IFSG Connections is a free monthly electronic publication full of Feng Shui articles, tips, special features, and school spotlights. A highly regarded publication, the Ezine contains information about the Guild, our consultant and school directories, Feng Shui articles with links to member authors, tips, before and after features, an IFSG school spotlight, and a special advertising section of services and products.
What it means to you?
Writing articles is an excellent way to market yourself and your Feng Shui practice and is therefore a powerful marketing tool for any practicing consultant. The IFSG Ezine is an opportunity for you, our members, to write about what you know - showcasing your expertise and knowledge - to our thousands of subscribers. If your article is accepted for publication, we include a link to your IFSG personal professional web listing (or IFSG school listing if preferred by a school director/author). The article with link to you is also posted in our ongoing and growing Ezine archives.
Submitting an Article
Submitting an article is easy. Using the Writer's Guidelines as shown below, members may submit articles at any time throughout the year based on one of the monthly themes in our Editorial Plan. Articles, tips, case studies, before and after photos, etc. provide you a variety of ways with which to get noticed. Submitting to the IFSG, you agree to permit the IFSG one-time rights for use of your articles in the IFSG ezine and its archives.

Writer's Guidelines
• Articles are accepted from IFSG members; and generally, we do not use articles by a member more than one time every six months.
• Submitted articles should be based on one of the monthly themes in our Editorial Plan.
• The maximum word count per article is 600 words, and there is no minimum. Longer articles may be given special consideration if they are best suited as a 2-3 part series.
• The Ezine is published on the 1st of each month. Although submissions are accepted anytime, articles must be sent no later than the 10th of the month prior to the publication month issue. (For example, an article submitted on or before September 10th will be considered for the October publication based upon the article content and space availability).
• We reserve the right to hold submissions for later use in accordance with our Editorial Plan and cannot guarantee that all articles will be published or will appear in any particular issue. Each article is carefully reviewed for content and relevance. If an article is better suited to the IFSG Quarterly - our member only newsletter - you will be notified.
• Articles should be written with the audience in mind - not all subscribers are experienced practitioners, but all are passionate about Feng Shui. Article focus should consider the general public.
• Articles may be modified or edited at the discretion of the Ezine staff.
• Once your article is approved for inclusion, you will be notified of its scheduled publication.
• You must agree to permit the IFSG one-time rights of use of your article in the IFSG Ezine and its archives.
Where to Submit Your Article
Submit your article by emailing us. Attach the article as a .txt or .doc file attachment or copy in the text of the email.
