IMPETUS (a Workshop for Teens)
Powerfully Navigating the Day-to-Day Challenges of Life
This is an exciting time to be alive! For many teens this is the beginning of realization, acceptance and appreciation of self. What inspires them to be so passionate? What drives their intensity to explore the world with such extremes? What do they have to share with the rest of the world that is meaningful?
Keeping in heart and mind the needs of youth today, Impetus was created. It is a workshop that assists teens in navigating the day-to-day challenges of their lives with clarity and purpose. It delves into topics of inclusion, awareness, creativity, and reveals insights into their uniqueness. Impetus empowers teens to use these distinctions to make thoughtful choices in creating a life worth celebrating.
This workshop provides a safe, loving and non-judgmental atmosphere allowing openness and exploration to unfold naturally. Guided sensorially through group discussions, meditations, walk-abouts and self-reflection, Impetus supports the connectedness teens desire to have with them-selves and the world around them.

Tina is owner of Turtle Belly Design and creator of the Kaleidoscope Project and Kaleidoscope Communication Cards. She is a mother of two whose love and compassion for children has led her to studies in understanding and communicating with children in a new light. Over the past 13 years, Tina has studied under several Masters in understanding energy and the responsibility of consciously creating our lives. She believes her most profound Masters have been her children. Through her studies and interactions with parents, teachers and children she knows that most importantly we need to SEE our children for who they really are, then LISTEN. |
