Dawn S Southgate is Florida based Interior Decorator & Feng Shui Consultant. The focus of her work at SLD is to create beauty and harmony in the home through interior decorating solutions that support the client’s lifestyle. She accomplishes this by blending the ancient traditions of feng shui into her designs enabling clients to re-establish an intimate connection with their home.
Dawn also works with clients on feng shui projects that do not involve design, helping them to create harmony and balance in their homes using the ancient principles of feng shui with a modern spin!
She brings an international flair to design work from having lived in Europe, Asia and Australia and through working with clients in South Florida, the British Virgin Islands, NYC, England & Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Dawn is an Interior Design graduate from Parsons School of Design in New York and has trained professionally in Classical, Black Sect (BTB) and Form School Feng Shui. She is a Professional Member (Red Ribbon) of the International Feng Shui Guild (IFSG) and is Co-Chair of the IFSG Green Living & Design Committee. She also held the position of Associate Director of the New York City Chapter of the IFSG, the largest Chapter of Feng Shui professionals in the world.
As part of her commitment to a sustainable planet, environmentally friendly, renewable or recycled products including flooring, stains, paint, furniture, fabrics and accessories may be introduced in design proposals.
