Membership Survey Results Available On-line

Out of a desire to give members a place to talk about their experiences and needs with the Guild, to share success stories, and learn ways we can improve – a membership survey was born. Open to all current IFSG members, the anonymous survey asked for feedback on a variety of topics.  We have accomplished many things in the last few years, but there is always opportunity for growth.  Special thanks to all who participated!

Feng Shui Universal Topics Assessment Available On-Line

The Red Ribbon Professional level of membership and our Universal Topics Assessment is available on-line.  Geared to the current, active Feng Shui consultant, this level supports long desires of professionalism and standards in our field. To join the Guild as a new Red Ribbon Professional member, applicant must first take and pass the International Feng Shui Guild Universal Topics Assessment

Eco-friendly Goodness for Pets and Humans

Energy and Goodness for AnimalsFrom the Get Acquainted Rooms that feature hand-painted murals to the big room where pets and humans soon will take yoga classes together, at the open house at the Humane Society Silicon Valley's new 48,000-square-foot shelter, dogs and people alike were making a joyful noise that sounded a lot like barking.  This is the first animal shelter in the U.S. to be certified gold under the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating system and has Feng Shui certification as well.  Read more about how the good ch'i is changing everyone's lives.

 

Hong Kong University Leads the Way

The 4th International Conference on Scientific Feng Shui & Built Environment took place in Hong Kong on 20 February 2009. Many academics, architects and practitioners met to share their research and practical application in the field of Feng Shui for the build environment. This year’s theme was “Design Harmony” and addressed the increasing interest for architects, building professionals and other property practitioners to apply the concepts of Feng Shui in building design.  Read the summary by IFSG member, Peter Jordan.

From Fortune Magazine, this article looks at the importance of Feng Shui in considering a public company image - the office emblem.
