Biography

Shelley Sparks is a Feng Shui expert licensed Landscape Architect and passionate gardener. Through the practices of Feng Shui and Landscape Design she creates harmony healing and beneficial qualities to her client’s home business and garden environments. She believes that as we bring our environments into balance we live happier and healthier lives benefit all that we relate to and help heal the earth.

Shelley is a senior disciple of His Holiness Master Lin Yun Rinpoche Grand Master of Black Sect Tantric Buddhist Sect of Feng Shui and has been studying Feng Shui for more than eighteen years. She is a contributing author to “Contemporary Earth Design a Feng Shui Anthology” and has written articles for New Woman’s Spirit Magazine Feng Shui the Journal Landscape Architect and Specifier News and les nouvelles esthetiques. She is currently publishing two books. Secrets of the Land Designing Harmonious Gardens with Feng Shui is a book on how to design fabulous gardens using the principles of feng shui. Keep Plants Healthy Monthly Actions for Beautiful Gardens is the first in a series of gardening guides. It is geared to the southern United States and available through kindle and nook.

She teaches Feng Shui and Feng Shui landscape design principles for U.C.L.A. Extension and various other national venues. Shelley was a featured speaker for The Second International Feng Shui Conference and for the National Convention of the American Society of Landscape Architects 1997 and 1998 and the International Conference of Esthetics and Dermatology. Other venues where she has taught are California State College at Northridge the Chicago Arboretum Los Angeles Arboretum Descanso Botanical Gardens Long Island Institute of Feng Shui California Landscape Contractors Association a number of Garden Clubs The Learning Annex the Beverly Hills Garden Show South Coast Plaza Garden Show and Learning Tree University. She has also taught through the auspices of private individuals throughout the United States in Sacramento California and Indianapolis Indiana. Besides garden classes she taught classes and workshops in Feng Shui Feng Shui and Health Prosperity Using Feng Shui Feng Shui and Love and Feng Shui for the Beauty Industry. Through those venues and other publicity she consulted on gardens homes and corporations throughout the United States including Directtv headquarters in southern California.

She is a licensed as a Landscape Architect and has designed award winning residential landscapes. She has taught classes in landscape subjects including “The Garden As a Healing Space” and “Designing for Horticultural Therapy: Requirements for Successful Landscapes” for U.C.L.A. Extension and “How to Design Your Own Garden” for the Learning Annex.

Shelley was a guest star designer for the Home and Garden Network’s “The Surprise Gardener” and filmed segments for local Los Angeles news shows. Shelley lectures writes and works in Los Angeles.
