IFSG Feng Shui School Application and Review Policy

The IFSG requires all member Feng Shui schools be vetted through an application process and regular review. This process elevates the authenticity and professionalism of Feng Shui, further supporting our mission of expanding the practice, teaching, and use of authentic Feng Shui worldwide and ensures public access to high quality Feng Shui training.

Initial Application Process:

Any professional Feng Shui school wanting to become a member school with related benefits, must submit the required online application for review and consideration by the IFSG education team.  Our expectation is that we will complete a review of applications within 30 days.  Email is generally the primary contact mechanism between schools and the IFSG.

Upon approval, the IFSG office works with the school director to obtain payment, establish presence on the Feng Shui School Directory, and access to benefits.

Ongoing Review:

All schools will be regularly reviewed by the IFSG education team at the interval of:

Plus five (5) years after the most recent application (either baseline or Gold) on file or sooner if:

• Changes occur within the IFSG which affect school benefits or policies
• Industry, technology, or other external changes arise that affect school benefits or standards in the industry
• A report is communicated to the IFSG regarding an issue, concern with curriculum or the IFSG School Code of Ethics.

The level of school membership, either baseline or Gold designated program determines the application for ongoing review.

Change to IFSG School Requirements or Standards:

If the IFSG education committee determines changes to requirements or standards for school membership, the committee would make a recommendation to the Board of Directors for review/pass.

Communication:

For simplification, the IFSG office is the primary point of contact for school applications and reviews.
