Cindy Garreton, 9 Tips for Feng Shui Love

1) If you want to attract a new love, you can create a candle ritual for 9, 18, or 27 days. Buy a tall white or pink candle to use only for this ritual. It will be important to use the utmost intention in this. List the characteristics of the partner whom you want to bring in. The Universe loves this action! You can put a sacred cloth below the candle or a fabric you really love…preferably using white, red, or pink as these are the colors associated with the relationship sector in the Bagua. Be sure it’s a fabric that evokes happy feelings. Get in a meditation state of gratitude. Light your candle at the same time everyday. You can read the characteristics of your partner as you gaze into the candle. Imagine that he or she is there with you. Feel their presence. Imagine how you would feel if they were there with you. You can even wear a scent that you think your beloved would like before you do this ritual. Repeat at the same time for 9, 18, or 27 days!! Remember to be specific, so you aren’t attracting just anyone! You can also play romantic music while you practice your candle meditation.

If you are already in a relationship, you can meditate with the candle on what you want to bring into your partnership. For example, if you want to travel more together, have more date nights, enjoy more sex, etc. If it’s appropriate, you can invite your love to meditate with you. If you are perfectly happy with your situation with your partner, you can always do this for yourself. Send yourself love, joy, bliss, happiness during the ritual. Have it be a form of self care for you as a gift for yourself. Surround yourself with love!

2) If you have a significant other or want to attract one, please create plenty of space for them in the closet and in the chest of drawers in your bedroom. Now, I know this can be a challenge for fashionistas because they need SPACE for their lovely clothes, shoes, and accessories. I’ve heard many times that clothing just seems to reproduce in there. However, for good Feng Shui, even if he or she doesn’t have that many clothes, it’s important to give him or her equal space. The best scenario is to let go of clothes you don’t use, but if you have done that and your things still take too much space, it’s time to move some clothes to another area and let your partner breathe! I’ve seen more than once that a husband is banned from having any space in the bedroom for his clothes, etc, and he gets pushed further and further out, until the relationship is in trouble! Let your sweetheart have his or her space so he or she feels welcome and home!

3) We know how our senses affect us and play a big part in Feng Shui. Aromatherapy is a lovely way to lift the chi in your home, one way to really attract love is to wear the LOVE. There are many essential oil blends but some of the top ones for love are: Ylang Ylang, Lavender, and Rose. Wear one of these scents everyday for 9, 18, or 27 days with the intent of improving your relationship or bringing in a fabulous new one! You can charge your oils with whatever you would like to before you put them on. Another trick is to charge your oil with a word before you apply them. Your word could be: “Manifest” or “Self Confidence” or “Love” itself! Just put your hand over the bottle essential oil and charge an essence of the word right into it. You can do this as much as you like!

4) Most people know about rose quartz as the crystal of love. Bringing in a pair of rose crystal hearts in the bedroom at your bedside table with your intention is a wonderful Feng Shui Adjustment to attract love. If you don’t have rose quartz, you can use other crystals such as red adventurine, rhodochrosite, unakite, or red jasper; I suggest that you charge them in the moonlight on a full moon or new moon with your intention before you place them. Other ways to cleanse would be to place them on a Himilayan salt block over night, on a large piece of selenite for 8 hours, or by burning palo Santo wood and cleansing them with it.

5) Use the relationship trigram as a Feng Shui enhancement. You can find this on the Bagua Map, which is a tool we use in Feng Shui to measure the chi. The trigrams come from the ancient I Ching and are what our bagua map history is based on. There is a photo of the
relationship trigram below. Now get creative! You can draw it or paint this ancient symbol from the I-Ching. Place it on your bedside table with an intention of what you want to bring into your existing or incoming relationship. If you truly love your creation, frame it and hang it in the bedroom. They don’t have to be perfect! Relationships aren’t perfect. Just remember the intention you have set for romance!

*** If you feel you aren’t artistic and don’t want to draw your trigram, you can simply print this article and cut out the trigram below. You can scan it and make it any size or keep it the original size before you place it. Enjoy.

6) Romantic Art in the Bedroom: If you are in a partnership, hang artwork that lights both of you up. Something you both love! It’s a reminder each day that you have this affinity in common. It brings you together. For a future partner, hang art that depicts romance or two people, possibly doing something you would enjoy doing with a partner. A photo of a romantic place that you dearly love can also do the trick. Make it dynamic and something you both see and enjoy as soon as you wake up, to start the day with elevated chi and happiness! Adding pairs in the bedroom or relationship gua is also a great enhancement for relationship.

7) Lose all the gifts from past loves. This is for you to move on and live more in the present moment. It will not only prepare you for the new love coming into your life, but if you have a new “person”, it will keep you present with them so that you have more room to grow together and give the relationship the energy it needs to grow into something very special.

8) Sound can be very powerful if you are having conflicts with your partner. Wind chimes will break up the energy and start up fresh communications. You can hang one in the bedroom where it will get some air flow or if it’s more conducive, hang one outside a  window in the bedroom. Be sure that both of you love the sound of your chimes. If you have a crystal bowl and your partner loves the sound, you can also play that once a day in the bedroom with the intent of smoother, more intimate communication.

9) Remember Feng Shui is all about your intention!! Feel it in all your senses, when you use your intention with a Feng Shui Adjustment, know you deserve whatever it is you’re asking for and feel it in your bones. Create a great life and nurture your love or the love that is coming to you. Love and nurturing yourself is of utmost importance!! Cheers to love!
