Our Teams
IFSG committees, or teams, work to create opportunities and resources – for our member consultants, schools, and the public worldwide. Teams support the Board of Directors and members by improving the foundation upon which our organization is built.
Education – membership resources and benefits for feng shui school members
The team focuses on establishing the highest quality of educational standards within the industry as well as supporting and promoting our school members and their students and graduates through a variety of means.

Elections – for board of directors
The IFSG Elections Committee is responsible for gathering applications for our IFSG Board of Directors. They review all applications, interview and determine possible board positions for each candidate and give their recommendations to the Board during a specific election year. Elections occur every 2 our of 3 years with the third year being a rest/working year.
Executive – board leadership team
The executive committee is a standing committee and has the power to act on matters on behalf of the entire board. Lead by the Board Chair and consisting of officers of CEO, Secretary, and Treasurer.

Finance – organization viability and budgeting
Works with Board to develop financial strategies that strengthen the financial position of the IFSG as well as supervise strategies for monitoring fluctuations in expenses and revenues.

Visibility – marketing and public relations, for members and to the public
Team is dedicated to improving IFSG recognition by increasing visibility and exposure through branding, communications, collaborative marketing, and online visibility with a current focus on YouTube. Additionally, the team cultivates opportunities to promote members – both consultants and schools.

Membership – for feng shui consultants, individual members
Committee connects membership support with community engagement to create a point of deep and meaningful partnership for our members. The committee looks to enhancing value and empowering success for all members by building and supporting strong member benefits and opportunities, fostering connections, creating strategic development of and expansion of membership benefits, and support to our exclusive online community. Onboarding, retention and benefits are key areas of focus.

Special Events – hosted by the IFSG
This team is instrumental in bringing special events, speakers, and other new initiatives to the organization and membership. Created, implemented and led the Spotlight Speaker Series in 2021 and 2022; and successfully hosted the IFSG’s first virtual Feng Shui Summit in March 2023. This ongoing team is responsible for summit curation and execution.

Welcome Team – community support and engagement
The mission and purpose of the Welcome Committee is to welcome new and returning members and help connect them to the greater IFSG community. From a wide range of locations and perspectives, this team is geared to support and guide new members from all levels of experience into understanding and maximizing the vast benefits and connections the IFSG has to offer.

As a commitment to the organization and the highest integrity we expect, all committee members must agree and sign our confidentiality and commitment agreement prior to serving. Additionally, as all IFSG members are required to sign our code of ethics upon joining the organization, the IFSG Code of Ethics also governs committee operations and behavior.
